I am The Tinfoil Hats, an artificial and satirical music project created by Thomas Tornevall.
The project focuses on the anti-vaccine movement, conspiracy culture and political foil-hat communities on the right. Through music, humour and exaggerated imagery, I transform online discussions, expressions and group behaviour into satirical musical works.
My work is based on the idea that music and satire can expose the absurdity, misinformation and misplaced certainty found in online communities.

My current release is På kollisionskurs med pengaflödet.
The release contains two songs dedicated to a specific Swedish Facebook group that sometimes refers to itself as “Skutan”, meaning “the ship.”
The iceberg in the artwork represents a ship moving confidently forward while failing to recognise the danger directly ahead.
Through satire, musical production and visual storytelling, the release comments on conspiracy thinking, group dynamics and the risk of following a shared narrative without questioning its direction.
